The neighborhood is locally known as FIDI, and it hosts some of the biggest companies known all over the world. It is also serving as headquarter to many companies. There is a lot of activities that go on in this district. You can chill out in this neighborhood, have fun and see some of the historic restaurants around the neighborhood. It also includes the right places to live in, whether you are there for a vacation or on business. Here are of the things you can do while at the Financial District.
Visit the wells Fargo Museum
The museum is located at the heart of the Financial District. Although the museum is a bit small, it is a fun moment for those who are interested in learning more about the Wells Fargo and San Francisco history. You get the chance to view the stagecoach exhibition on the1906 earthquake and the preserved emails sent via pony express services. The exciting part is that the museum is free and no charges or tickets required. You have all day until 8 pm when the museum closes.
Visit Embarcadero center in Financial District
There are a lot of activities you can do while at the Embarcadero center. You can shop, catch a movie, or go on a dinner date. The mall is further divided into four blocks. The division makes it easier if you are looking for a specific place as you only need to know which block the business is located. If you have time, you can window shop at the mall. Overall, the museum will provide you with a fantastic experience. The museum used to have six free times a year but this changed in 2020 and now it only has one free day, which is the mothers’ day.
Grab a meal at Wayfare Tavern
It is a restaurant inspired by American dishes. The restaurant is fitted with leather furnishings and complete with dark wood. The restaurant has a private billiards where you can enjoy to watch a game or play one. Also, there is a private club inside the restaurant. The menus range from rustic delicacies to classic comforts. This spot has delicious food which is dear to your mouth.
Visit The Ferry building
The Ferry building is a beautiful place to visit while at the Financial District. The building has a gigantic clock tower. The tower is 245 feet tall and has four clocks on each side of the tower. Visiting the ferry building gives you an exciting moment filled with amazement. The building also has numerous restaurants with menus ranging from seafood to Mexican. The bay bridge gives you a fantastic spot for photos.
